In September, Apple is anticipated to unveil its iPhone 16 lineup, comprising four models: iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. While previous leaks have provided insights into the battery, display, and chipset specifications, a recent leak hints at an expansion in color options compared to the iPhone 15 range. According to the leak, the Pro models might debut with four new colors, potentially replacing some existing shades with fresh alternatives.
Renowned Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has shared his predictions regarding the color palette for the iPhone 16 series. Reportedly, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro Max will come in black, white (or silver), gray, and rose variants. Notably, the introduction of the rose shade is expected to replace the Blue Titanium color seen in the iPhone 15 Pro. Meanwhile, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are currently available in Black Titanium, White Titanium, and Blue Titanium hues.
For the standard iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus models, Kuo anticipates the availability of black, white, green, pink, and blue options. This suggests that the Yellow variant from the iPhone 15 lineup might be omitted in favor of a white alternative. Furthermore, Apple is rumored to assign different names to these colors, even if their tones remain unchanged. Presently, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus offer choices in Black, Blue, Green, Pink, and Yellow.
Regarding specifications, the iPhone 16 Pro is speculated to sport a 6.3-inch display, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max may feature a larger 6.9-inch screen. The standard iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are expected to retain their predecessors’ 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch screens, respectively, potentially incorporating new capacitive buttons.
